VEZILKA is coordinated by the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM) and implemented by the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FCSE / FINKI). For more than 15 years FCSE has been at the forefront of AI research, HPC infrastructure management and public-sector digitalisation in North Macedonia.
- The largest AI research community in the country — 60+ researchers with a PhD and 30+ PhD students actively working in AI.
- Over 5,000 active students.
- The largest HPC and HPDA infrastructure in the country, including a nationally unique GPGPU cluster and private-cloud platforms.
- Operator of mission-critical national digital platforms.
