VEZILKA Presented to the Members of AmCham North Macedonia
The VEZILKA project was presented to the member companies of the American Chamber of Commerce in North Macedonia (AmCham) on July 14, 2026, at a members’ briefing held from 09:00 to 10:30 at AmCham’s premises in Skopje. The session was deliberately kept small, with 15 participants, allowing for a working discussion rather than a formal presentation.
VEZILKA was represented by Professor Dimitar Trajanov, who presented the North Macedonia AI Factory Antenna, its mission, the access it opens to European top-tier compute, and the support it provides free of charge to companies, startups, researchers, and the public sector across five strategic sectors: healthcare, energy, language and culture, agriculture, and public administration. He walked the participants through the services available at vezilka.ai/services, from AI readiness assessment and idea development to prototyping, pilot support, mentoring, and responsible AI guidance aligned with the EU AI Act and GDPR, explaining how a company applies by submitting an Expression of Interest. The briefing also introduced VEZILKA’s free training programme and invited the participants to join doniraj.vezilka.ai, the national platform for contributing text, voice, and handwriting to the Macedonian language corpus.
For VEZILKA, the event opened a direct channel to the country’s international business community, whose adoption decisions will determine whether artificial intelligence translates into measurable productivity gains for the Macedonian economy. The ambition remains a North Macedonia that is not merely a user of artificial intelligence but its creator and driver, and that keeps its young talent building the future here.
