VEZILKA @German-Macedonian Business Summit 2026

The VEZILKA project was presented at the German-Macedonian Business Summit 2026, held on May 7, 2026. This high-level forum, focused on “Applied Technology and Digitalization as Drivers of Economic Development in North Macedonia,” was organized by AHK North Macedonia and the German-Macedonian Business Association (DMWV) and served as a vital platform for aligning national technological strategies with international industrial standards.

The project was represented by Professor Dimitar Trajanov, leader of the VEZILKA AI Factory Antenna project in Macedonia, during the panel discussion titled “What About the Digital Future of North Macedonia?” The presentation highlighted the project’s mission to serve as a cornerstone of the national AI ecosystem. By providing critical infrastructure, including advanced hardware resources and specialized consulting services, VEZILKA aims to accelerate the digital maturity of both the public and private sectors.

A central theme of the presentation was the project’s commitment to capacity building. VEZILKA is dedicated to bridging the skills gap by offering targeted education and training, ensuring that the next generation of researchers and professionals is equipped to lead in the intelligence era.

The summit, which gathered over 400 participants and 250 companies, underscored the importance of integrating AI and digital transformation into the Macedonian economy to drive productivity and innovation within the European market. Such initiatives are essential in enhancing the competitiveness of the Macedonian economy within the European digital landscape.
