VEZILKA at WhatTheStack 2026

On 19 September 2026, VEZILKA took part in WhatTheStack 2026, a community-driven software conference held at the Technical Campus in Skopje. The main conference brought together developers, engineers, AI researchers, startup founders and other members of the technology community for a full day of talks, workshops and networking across topics including AI and machine learning, web development, cloud and infrastructure, DevOps, security, architecture and open source.

Throughout the day, visitors stopped by the VEZILKA stand to meet the team, learn more about the project’s activities and exchange ideas about the development and use of artificial intelligence in North Macedonia. The stand created an opportunity for direct conversations with members of the technology community, including developers, students and other conference participants, who were interested in VEZILKA’s work and in the growing possibilities for building and applying AI locally.

Many of these conversations naturally led to questions about how VEZILKA can support people and organisations that want to work with AI. Visitors learned more about opportunities related to AI infrastructure, training, mentoring and expert support, as well as VEZILKA’s work on technologies for the Macedonian language and practical AI applications. The discussions also provided an opportunity to explain how students, researchers, startups, companies and public institutions can become involved in VEZILKA’s activities and make use of the resources and expertise being developed through the project.
