VEZILKA Brings AI Training to Teachers

A training session on artificial intelligence in primary education was held on 26 August 2026 at the “Vlado Tasevski” Primary School in Skopje, bringing together teachers and other members of the school’s teaching staff to explore the role of AI in education. The training was delivered by Prof. Gjorgji Madzarov, PhD, and presented within the framework of VEZILKA’s activities.

The session introduced participants to generative AI, its capabilities and limitations, responsible use, and the selection of AI tools that can genuinely support their work. Through practical examples and discussion, teachers had the opportunity to consider how AI can assist with everyday tasks, preparation of educational materials, and other aspects of teaching, while remaining aware of the importance of responsible and appropriate use.

Activities such as this training are part of VEZILKA’s broader effort to make AI knowledge and practical skills more accessible across society, supporting educators and other professionals as artificial intelligence becomes increasingly present in their everyday work.
