More Than 650 Participants Join VEZILKA’s First AI Course
On 29 September 2026, VEZILKA held the first session of its first training course, “AI Literacy for Everyone”, at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FCSE), UKIM, in Skopje. The session, “Introduction to AI,” brought together more than 650 participants, with 580 joining online and 75 attending in person, showing strong interest in learning more about artificial intelligence and its growing role in everyday and professional life.
Taught by Prof. Andrea Kulakov, PhD, and Elena Atanasoska, MSc, the session introduced participants to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, including how AI systems learn from data, where they can be used, what their limitations are, and why human verification remains important. Through examples, discussions and practical exercises, participants had the opportunity to build a common foundation for understanding AI and the technologies increasingly becoming part of their work and daily lives.
This introductory session is only the beginning of VEZILKA’s training programme. While the first course builds essential AI literacy, upcoming training will move from understanding AI to using it in practice, with tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude Code and AI agents. VEZILKA is also preparing more specialised, hands-on courses for public administration, SMEs and other professional environments, focused on real workflows, automation and practical problem-solving.
VEZILKA would like to thank everyone who participated, both online and in person, for being part of the first session. With many more courses, practical topics and learning opportunities ahead, this first training marks the start of a broader effort to make AI knowledge and skills more accessible and useful across society. Participants and everyone interested in future training opportunities are encouraged to stay tuned for the dates and details of the upcoming sessions and courses, which will be announced through VEZILKA’s official channels.
