About This Course
Foundational AI awareness for the general public: what AI is, where you meet it day to day, and how to use everyday AI tools safely and critically. Three 3-hour webinars, delivered hybrid (FCSE amphitheatre and online) and hosted on train.vezilka.ai, each with short quizzes and hands-on exercises in Google Colab. No programming knowledge needed.
Who Is It For?
- Citizens with no prior AI or technical background
- Anyone who wants to use AI tools confidently and safely
- Community groups, public and lifelong learners
What You Will Learn
Explain what AI is, how it differs from ordinary software and how it learns from data
Recognise the “small tasks” behind AI systems: classification, prediction, recommendation, generation
Choose and prompt today’s AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity), including in Macedonian
Use AI as a thinking partner: brainstorming, drafts, structured output, simple agents
Know when to trust, verify or escalate an AI answer; protect privacy and handle high-risk topics
Understand AI’s societal impact, its effect on jobs, and the EU AI Act risk-based approach
