VEZILKA at SSKC Trade Union School 2026: Digitalization and AI in Healthcare

On 3 October 2026, VEZILKA participated in the SSKC Trade Union School 2026, held at Hotel Vrnjačke Terme in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia. The event brought together 158 members, healthcare workers and healthcare associates from public healthcare institutions in North Macedonia.

VEZILKA was represented by Prof. Igor Mishkovski, PhD, from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FCSE), Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, and member of the VEZILKA team. He delivered a lecture titled “Digitalization and AI in Healthcare.”

The lecture covered electronic health records, the protection of patient data and automated decision-making. Most participants came from Skopje, while healthcare workers and healthcare associates also attended from Kumanovo, Vinica, Štip, Struga, Gostivar, Tetovo, Delčevo and other cities across North Macedonia.

The SSKC Trade Union School 2026 was organised by the Independent Trade Union of Employees in University Clinics, Centres, Clinical Hospitals and Other Public Healthcare Institutions (SSKC). The school was opened by Dr. Predrag Serafimoski, President of SSKC.

VEZILKA’s participation in the event expanded the project’s reach among healthcare professionals across North Macedonia and contributed to the promotion of digital literacy in healthcare.
