VEZILKA Supports Macedonian Students at EUROAI 2026

Students from North Macedonia achieved an outstanding result at the first European Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (EUROAI), held from 14 to 19 July 2026 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The international competition brought together almost 90 selected secondary-school students from 23 European countries, alongside guest teams from outside Europe.

The Macedonian team, whose preparation was supported by VEZILKA in collaboration with the Computer Society of Macedonia and the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FCSE), was represented by Blagoj Rujanoski Stojanovski, Todor Pljakov, Andrej Angelov, and Anastasija Pecevska, and led by Vladislav Bidikov, MSc, and Dimitar Mileski, MSc. Through intensive training in AI, algorithms, and machine learning, the students developed the knowledge, practical skills, and problem-solving abilities needed to compete successfully at one of Europe’s leading AI competitions, reflecting VEZILKA’s commitment to developing young AI talent. North Macedonia returned from the Olympiad with three bronze medals, earned by Blagoj Rujanoski Stojanovski, Todor Pljakov, and Andrej Angelov, demonstrating the value of sustained support for AI education.

The success of the Macedonian team is more than a competition result; it is a reminder of what can be achieved when talented students are given the opportunity to learn, compete, and excel. By supporting AI education and talent development, VEZILKA is helping prepare the next generation of researchers, engineers, and innovators who will shape North Macedonia’s future in AI.
